You know I'll never understand why the richest among us spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars on ridiculous clothing that has poor quality. Usually it has to do with the designer most of the time, and what is in style. Yes, it's good to be on top of trends, and be a "trendy fashionista" but why throw your money away at what could be tomorrow's fashion "faux-pas?" You could definitely still save money, and still be as stylish as A-List celebrities. Being creative, imaginative, quirky, and having an eye for detail is what usually seperates some of us from the ordinary crowd. It's people like that whom I look up to and find inspiration. It makes me want to know more, find out what inspires them and to initiate a conversation about it.
As I walk around everywhere that I do, I see so many people with various ideas, and I want to create a stylebook and take note of all these successes.
As once stated "Everyday is a fashion show, and all the world is a runway" is very true but do we really try so hard to be perfect everyday?
No, we don't.
It's not necessary to be a perfectionist,either.
Even I, who am writing this, am wearing an old striped sweater with some rips on my shoulder..
One might say, "That girl doesn't know how to dress!" and then start snickering in the background, but do they know my situation, do they know my personality, or whats going on?
No, they don't.
That's why you must never judge a book by it's cover. Ever.
You might think one thing, and something else could be the truth.
I try my best to not judge people, but to see the potential in those who lack, "shine".
If I do see an individual who lacks in this so-called shine, I smile, glance quickly, and imagine all of the potential that they have inside.
Everyone is fashionable.
It's a matter of them knowing it, or finding it.
To those who have it, never lose it.
and to those who haven't found it yet, you will.

and THIS is why I'm getting fitted Thursday; gotta keep rockin' fresh!
